The Sun Room

An open air, unique and hidden room found deep in the garden

 The Sun Room, formerly known as The Tea Rooms, has been recently restored. Brought back from the brink of ruin, this secluded and private space can be used for a variety of events.

When you book Balcombe Place for your wedding, the Sun Room is yours to use as you see fit. Perhaps for a BBQ supper the evening before your ceremony or a beautiful space for a drinks party for your guests.

The Sun Room is also available for separate hire to the main house. Its the perfect space for a christening celebration or a summer drinks party.

Capacity: 28 guests seated across 2 tables, up to 75 guests if a mixture of seated and standing.

Please note that The Sun Room is completely uncovered. We do have parasols for protection from the sun but, as we are in England, preparation for wet weather is always a must. Together, we can work out a ‘wet weather plan’ that works for your bespoke event.
